Why we exist

To Strengthen Families – Limit Isolation & Transform Lives

30 acres is a project established by One Voice to provide a space where families can reconnect

Be a Catalyst for Real Change

Together, we can:

Strengthen families: One on One time is rare these days with our changing economy and work/life balance. By providing short stay retreats that foster deeper connections and improved communication between parents and children, we will change families’ lives forever, together.

Limit isolation and reconnect lives: The COVID-19 pandemic embedded isolation into the lives of many young people, limiting their ability to attend school, gain employment, and build the valuable work experience they need. Our retreats will focus on addressing these challenges, helping young people rebuild confidence and social connections.

Transform lives through education and enterprise: By training and support programs, we equip individuals with skills and confidence to rebuild their lives. For example, building a shed on the property will allow us to train young people in constructing mobile shower trucks, offering valuable trade experience. As well as other workshops in hospitality, wood work, horticulture and classic car restoration, its projects like this that give young people hope and confidence to shine.

WHO IS ONE VOICE

Founded in 2012, One Voice operates a mobile shower service for people experiencing homelessness, helping restore dignity and hygiene to over 30,000 individuals annually across Australia.

In 2019 One Voice acquired a property in the Macedon Ranges, here we plan to transform lives, one young person at a time.
