30.Acres is a bold new initiative of One Voice, a national charity known for restoring dignity to people experiencing homelessness through mobile shower services across Australia. Since 2012, we’ve provided support to thousands through practical outreach and community partnerships.
Now, with 30.Acres, we’re bringing that same heart to the Macedon Ranges — creating a local hub for youth development, training programs, retreats, and community events that empower individuals and strengthen the region. Below are some of our past projects.

Background
In 2012, founder Josh Wilkins made the choice to live on the streets to gain firsthand insight into the realities faced by people experiencing homelessness. Through this experience, he witnessed not only the urgent need for shelter but also the profound lack of access to basic hygiene services. He also encountered many young people with remarkable talents yet limited opportunities to express them.
Motivated to create change, One Voice was established, and in 2014, it introduced the world’s first mobile shower bus, offering dignity and hygiene to those in need. Now a nationally recognized service, One Voice has provided essential support to over 250, 000 individuals, helping restore a sense of self-worth and hope.
More information about these services can be found at www.onevoice.org.au
Recognising that early intervention is crucial in breaking the cycle of homelessness, One Voice expanded its mission in 2019 by acquiring 30 acres in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. This initiative was born out of an understanding that many young people lack the support, life skills, and opportunities necessary to thrive, leaving them vulnerable to social and economic challenges.
30.Acres Retreat was created as a place of empowerment, mentorship, and reconnection. It offers holistic, sustainable solutions aimed at helping individuals and their families rebuild relationships, strengthen resilience, and develop a sense of purpose and belonging.

ZenTrinity Retreats
A holistic retreat program for individuals and families to reconnect, recover, and rediscover purpose. Through curated experiences in nature, mindfulness, equine therapy, art therapy, and restorative wellness, we promote emotional healing and intergenerational connection.
Youth Hub
A dynamic youth hub designed to build confidence, skills, and pathways for young people through hands-on learning, social enterprise initiatives, creative exploration, and personal development. It’s a place where possibility lives — where young people are equipped to thrive, not just survive.

Josh Wilkins
Founder & Director
In 2012, I chose to live on the streets of Melbourne for six months, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness. This experience inspired me to create OneVoice’s Mobile Shower Service, launched in 2014, which provides safe hygiene facilities and dignity to those in need.
Since then, OneVoice has expanded to six fully equipped shower trucks across Australia, offering not only showers but also access to health services, meals, clothing, and employment support. We work closely with shelters, outreach groups, businesses, and volunteers to help people transition from homelessness to a life of dignity and hope.
Most recently, we launched 30 Acres, a new initiative empowering young people to strive for greatness and build brighter futures.

As a Board Member of OneVoice, I’m proud to contribute to an organisation that amplifies youth perspectives and creates real opportunities for change. My Human Resources & Programs Manager role allows me to lead with empathy, foster inclusive environments, and champion people-focused leadership.
Most importantly, I’m a proud mum of four, and that experience fuels my commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces for all young people to flourish—at home, in the workplace, and in programs in the wider community.
